temple run

It's an addicting escape game, that's been copied numerous times. Of course, I'm talking about Temple Run. This extremely addictive game is set in a temple, and apperently you stole an ancient idol. thus demonic monkeys chase you. In this game you jump, slide, and maneuver yourself around obstacles.

My highest score is 1,737,468. Which I don't think is bad but there are a few people that would beg to differ. There are also some really useful power-ups: such as the resurrection wings, mega coin, magnet, invisibility, and invincibility. With the resurrection wings, if you're wearing them, they will start you off again at where you died; but your coin meter gets emptied. The mega coin is a huge coin you have to jump to get, and is the equivalent of 100 regular coins and can be increased in the menu. The magnet is a magnetic power that draws, all of the regular coins you pass, to you. When you're invisible, you can run right through any obstacle. And with invincibility, you speed up and run through any obstacle.

This is a game that requires your complete focus, and I would recommend this game to anyone that actually read this whole thing.

Look for it in the app store!

Bad Piggies

I've done a post on the Angry Birds, now I'm doing one on the Bad Piggies. This game will challenge your mind, and by making you achieve the objectives it becomes twice as hard. The story of the whole game is that the pigs have drawn up new plans to steal the birds eggs, but each time something happens to the plans, destroying them. So you have to help the pigs get their plans all together by building the right contraption to transport the pigs to the where their plans are. I have played this game and my opinion is that it's just as fun, if not more than Angry Birds.

Powder Toy

There is really no one picture that fully grasps just one concept of the game Powder Toy. This game is a great physics based game, and it's just so cool. There is a plethera of elements, compounds, liquids, solids, and even people to choose from. My guess is if you are even reading this post you need to download this game. It's completely free and doesn't take long to download. If you had to pay money it would be well worth it, but I'm happy we don't. If you like physics I would recommend playing this game.

Minecraft Pocket Edition

Minecraft Pocket Edition is just like the PC or Xbox versions, but it's on your phone or mobile device. When you first start up the game, it will show a screen with three or four options depending on which version you have. The first says, "Join Game," and that just means if you tap it you will be able to join other people in their game via the internet. The second button says, " Start Game," and it means exactly what it sounds like , you get to start your adventure. The third is an options button, but the fourth is a button that asks you to buy the full game, which you will only see in the demo version.

The direction keys are in the bottom left corner, with the jump button in the center of those, and your tool bar is at the bottom in the center it shows the three tools available. But you can change your weapon or tool by tapping the little white dots in the fourth square of the tool bar.
By doing that, you bring up a screen with all of the items you have collected and the quantity of each item.
Right now I only have the demo version but when I get the full version, which costs about $6.99, I will write
a new post on that. For Minecraft lovers or anyone, believe it would be a good game. It is so much fun and it even has some educational value. If you even think building tools, farming, domesticating animals, or building houses sounds like fun, then Minecraft is definitely for you.

Cut the Rope

Another great Android physics game is Cut the Rope. In which, you maneuver a piece of candy through a system of spikes, bubbles, and electricity to a little green monster named Om Nom. It's actually very fun, addicting, and challenging. I have played it and I can say that it is hard, it does make you use your brain and think about it. I've seen prices on the Android Market and the Google Play Market, and it is between 99 cents and $1.99, but there is a free version that is just as much fun. If you like  candy, little monsters, obstacles, or even boxes I recommend playing this game.

My Blog

My blog is about.....well games, and any kind, too. From the most popular, to games no one's even heard about, or even the evolution of Jacks over the years. I chose this topic because, all of my life I've been a hardcore gamer. I will also ad my personal experience with these games, I play them before I blog about them. If you post suggestions I will look up a game and research it just for you. And yes, this is my first blog, so if something doesn't look right tell me and I'll fix it.

                                                                                                                  Thanks for reading,

Angry Birds

Out of all four that are out there, you still can't beat the original Angry Birds. This destructive physics game has become extremely popular, especially the Android version. If you are looking to play, it is about 99 cents. But there is a free version that doesn't provide the full version of the game, but supplies just as much satisfaction. Some critics say that to win is just luck and requires minimal strategy. I, as a gamer, have this game on my Android and have beaten it many times. Sure, you're not going to be a natural at the game the first time you play it, but once you figure out how to angle the birds, it's fairly simple and quite addictive.
